On 6 October 2022, the UP Alpha Sigma Fraternity celebrated Teacher's Day by donating PHP 20,000 worth of teaching materials to Balara Elementary School. The said initiative is in line with the celebration of the 60th year of the establishment of the fraternity. The elementary school consists of around 5,000 students and 145 faculty members and is considered to be the most populous school in the 3rd Congressional District of Quezon City.
Academic Excellence is one the Fraternity's Four Pillars. With this project, we hope that we have fulfilled this goal and to have contributed to our mandate of nation-building and humanitarian service.
