Information Campaign on Disaster Preparedness at the Family Level (Specific to Earthquakes) - Rotary Club of Pasig West

The Rotary Club of Pasig West (RCPW), a partner in service with Pinoysagip launched several community service projects and information campaigns for Rotary Year 2014 - 15 on: oral health, earthquake preparedness, coral reef conservation and protection, character and values formation and Work readiness for Persons With Disabilities (PWD).

Information Campaign on Disaster Preparedness at the Family Level (Specific to Earthquakes) – The objective of this project is to Improve awareness and Preparedness of families in nearby communities to earthquake response through proper information dissemination using information cards and brochures as well as using the internet and social media. There will be a need to establish a Partnership with “Pinoysagip Blog site”. Establish possible partnerships with organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross, Phivolcs or NDRRMC in developing and producing downloadable printable posters or illustrated cards on the basics of preparing their own families and how to respond to earthquake disasters.  Such information will be made downloadable in the Internet through the RCPW website and social media. A Tie up with Interact clubs will also significantly augment the Distribution and Dissemination of material.
