The state-run Philippine General Hospital was hit by fire early Sunday morning last May 16, 2021. According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire was put out at that same morning at 5:41 a.m. As of reports that came in after, there has been no injuries or casualties from the incident according to authorities.
The hospital has appealed for help through donations in cash and kind, and many have responded. In order to give your support by sending donations directly to the hospital, the following poster has been released by the hospital administration which contains information on how you can help.
