Based on an initial report of the Pasig City-Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), nearly ten high-end vehicles caught fire at an automotive shop in Javier Street, Brangay Oranbo in Pasig City morning of May 13, 2021. The fire started at around 9:10 that morning when it reached the first alarm but took more than an hour before it was fully extinguished. According to PCSupt. John Pinagod of Pasig City Fire Marshal, the fire started on the 2nd floor of the barracks area of the said automotive shop. He said that 12 fire trucks responded to the fire but the firemen struggled to extinguish it due to the possible explosion of vehicles inside the automotive shop.
