OUR BAYANIHAN CONTINUES!

As the country has shifted  towards a less-stricter quarantine measure last September 16, the UE Alpha Sigma is glad to announce the new date for its bloodletting project - Dugong Alay para sa Sambayanan, on October 9, 2021. The above said initiative aims to help people in dire need of blood supply. 

Our bloodletting project will be in partnership with Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay Foundation and Tondo Medical Center. 

As we face uncertainties during this difficult time, let us continue to advocate bayanihan. Let us save lives together and be a hero now.

Update: as of July 30, 2021

Pursuant to IATF Resolution No. 130-A placing Metro Manila under GCQ with heightened restrictions from July 30 to August 5, then Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20, the UE Alpha Sigma postpones its Bloodletting Project scheduled this Saturday, July 31. 

UE Alpha Sigma will provide a new schedule for the said cause. Until then, everyone is advised to wait for further announcement.

Maraming salamat at mabuhay ang UE Alpha Sigma Fraternity sa kanilang Blood Letting Project noong July 31, 2021.

Habang nadadagdagan ang bilang ng mga pasyenteng nangangailangan ng dugo upang makamit ang lunas ng kani-kaniyang komplikasyon, patuloy naman tayong nagkukulang sa suplay nito. Sa panahon ng pandemya, isa ito sa mga malinaw nating kailangan matugunan na suliranin. 

Kasama ng UE Caloocan Central Student Council ang UE Alpha Sigma na ihandog sa inyo ang "Alay Sa Sambayanan: A Bloodletting Project" na ginanap sa Brgy. 390 Covered Court, Quiapo, Manila, noong July 31.

In the midst of the pandemic health crisis, the number of blood donors in our country plummeted. Many have been truly in need of a life line extender– a bag of blood. As simple as it may seem, but priceless and life saving to many, your blood is not just a mere liquid, but it is the liquid form of life. The UE Alpha Sigma, together with its partners, continues to commit itself in propagating the cause of humanitarian service amidst the pandemic. 

Many strongly advocated and encouraged others to donate blood last July 31, 2021 during the UE Alpha Sigma bloodletting initiative called “DUGONG ALAY PARA SA SAMBAYANAN” in collaboration with DUGONG ALAY, DUGTONG BUHAY.
